Question: Can Acrylic Gesso twice as a wood primer?I paint with acrylic on canvas, gesso lol I have made my ear, and I want a very small 9 x4 cm color pine box, but i dont want to have to go get wood primer, though gesso is enough. Any help is welcome, thanks
Answer: If I did not think it would be a problem. Acrylic nothing sticks and what Gesso, acrylic. You should have no problems. Ps my friend is painting with Acrylic Paint and gesso on wood and kept it several years ago, and it took years. It was in Chicago so the weather conditions weer hard.
