Answer: You can come close, by a high quality round # 16 and # 24 regular watercolor brush with "Talkon" fibers. I have these type of brushes for Oriental techniques. Synthetic hair is usually too stiff for Oriental brushes and human hair is too soft. I'm not aware of a source for synthetic hair oriental brushes. Oriental style painting is based on the brush as a flexible, but slightly springy and the ability to hold large amounts of liquid. These are difficult conditions for a purely synthetic brush.
