Question: What type of paint and brushes should I buy? Is really price = quality?I am a student, a job at my local Michaels lost for some discounts on fine Art Supplies. Some brushes are very expensive there, even if they are nice (such as W & N and Grumbach) As for colors I have a Liquitex Acrylic Basic Set used. (If you know something better for the same price please let me know) I do not want to spend too much money on a set of basic brushes. If you have any advice?
Answer: I do not know what is the big discounts to employees but Michael Hobby Lobby you can get 50% of the sale including brush. The quality of those.
