Question: Good Art Brush ... ?This Sunday, when I come out of art class for my Art Supplies I buy comic classes, I'v got a bunch of old action figures lying around, they are good, but the paint is Acrylic Paint in the purchase for them because someone I know using chipping and doing a good job, so that I know what I'm painting with a brush and what size I use, but I do not know what name brand brushes I do not buy so anyone know what are some good art brushes that will not cost much money, but they are good in quality and last for a long time?
Answer: I paint with Acrylic, and one can not really of good quality brush, without a bit of money. If you buy brushes and good care of them (cleaning, storage, etc.) then you should they last a long time. Cheap brushes do not hold the color, they bend and flop all over the place, and give you no good, smooth strokes. Just Do not Get cheap (six up a package at Walmart) Total junk IMO. My brush brand is Loew-Cornell. You can find them in stores Michaels, or perhaps art supply in your area. Hope this helps.
