Question: Can I use Oil Paint with turpentine?to paint hey, I started with oils and I have mixed with 'Windsor and Newton water Oil Painting medium ', but the color is taking FOREVER to dry, I can mix Oil Paint with turpentine? and what would this combination work to do ...? thanks!
Answer: The problem may be that your colors are oil, and you will mix with water medium (!?) Oil and water do not mix. Turpentine or Turpenoid is "all" if I to paint with oil, the other stuff is too expensive and it takes a year to get really dry.
