Question: Do I have the pictures with a medium in my oil?I recently purchased a series of canvases and Oil Paints, but I have no To use oil as my medium. People tell me I ought to mix the two but I do not understand why. Would the picture look bad or dry wrong when I paint, waste oil directly from the tube? Thanks for your help! D
A: The simple answer is: No, you do not need use any medium medium with Oil Paints. the color is diluted, so it is not as thick, and it can paint different qualities - help as quickly add dry, or you look more transparent - but it is not necessary.
