Gamblin Oil Paint

Question: Best Oil Paint brand?

Best brand of Oil Paint in tubes? Ex Rembrandt, Winsor and Newton, Gamblin, Old Holland, Williamsburg, View, Utrecht?

Answer: depends on how you want your paint. Some companies add fillers or other materials on, even the consistency, add some more oil than others, in some of the ultramarine, for example, is very tough and difficult to maneuver. Some companies have specific Pallets aligned - to the Sennelier Impressionists, for example. WN is best known and probably completely reliable; Old Holland until recently had an authentic 17thC Range, but has new lines and synthetic pigments, Williamsburg has a number of unusual earth; Blockx is wonderful with color. M. Graham produces superior quality in a limited palette. Yarka comes from Russia and there are several brands from China which are not recommended, because there are no safety standards in this country. So, as you see can, there is no "best" brand. But the experience you will be one to the point that you prefer to use.

Natural Hair

Question: Do you have tips for growing natural hair?

I love my natural, beautiful hair, but I would like it to much more. My hair is about shoulder length and I have many products purchased to grow your hair right. I'm sixteen years old and never had a relaxer in my hair. I have natural hair my whole life and I do not have put heat on my hair very often, maybe once every three months. I do not know what can I do about my hair longer. Any advice? Thank you!

Answer: This is my regimine so hopefully it has some helpful tips. These are the things that for me the work. Hair: I flat iron protectant than twice a month with a Sedu Revolution and Redken heatglide heat. I take biotin and MSM sulfur to help growth with. Night Care: I wear a hat to sleep satin night and use a silk / satin pillowcase. I put my hair in big braids at night, mostly so his wavy and unravels in the morning. Wash: I wash my hair with shampoo without sulfate or i cowash my hair. I have also precleanse with diluted apple cider vinegar. to prevent breakage or Tangles I was my Hair in twists. I have unraveled only when my hair has conditioner (I use Garnier Fructis triple food) in it. I go from the ends and work my way up. Brushes: I dont brush my hair, can there uneeded tension or breakage shampoo: I recommend using a sulfate shampoo if you products with silicones. Moisture is really important. I usually spray my hair with water mixed a little olive oil. Then I oyin seal in the moisture with whipped cream shea butter, coconut oil or cream pudding. Healthy Eating, drinking lots of water, exercise and the wearing of styles such as buns, braids or twists in a great length to preserve and promote healthy hair.

Color Pastel Set

Question: Can I bleach yellow 100% cotton curtains, white pastel?

We have a range of pastel-yellow 100% cotton curtains in our kitchen, We want to turn white (we are painting the room quickly and the colors do not match). Will bleach work? How should we go about removing the dye? We are good with playful, because worst-case scenario, we go and buy new curtains. However, if we save money by bleaching (or with any other method), we look forward to try it.

Answer: Absolutely! Release the disc on a large load of hot water to fill and if it 2 cups of bleach and 2 cups of salt, then slowly add your aggitates substances once they are all under water, turn the washer off and let soak 10 minutes. Turn The disc back on, so it then for two minutes aggitates back. Wait 10 minutes then the disc on and let it complete its cycle. Just make sure that the water is cold it is flushed, this will prevent fewer wrinkles, as you do it by 100% cotton The hot water will help to expand the substance makes it porous and the salt bleaching aid is to prevent tissue and absorb streaks. Grumbacher Pre Tested

Question: Oil Painting on acrylic?

I started a painting in acrylic Golden and asked me if I paint oil on top do? (Tested Grumbach artists already.) I'm new to oils and did not know if it Acrylic Paint would be a good idea to paint over the top. Experienced artists, please. Has anyone successfully done this? Thank you!

Answer: I used to use this technique all the time and it can work very well, It is a great way of doing background and blocking in and you can make great compositional changes without worrying about drying times or the paint surface is unstable. Make sure that the Acrylic Paint thoroughly (dry before applying the Oil Paint and do not try painting acrylic on oil). PS. I would certainly not recommend a layer over the acrylic Liqin. A fast-drying medium used in this way layers of cracking would likely subsequent oil increase. Oil Paint adheres very well acrylic, if you want the seal to such surface oils before you use it with a matte Acrylic Paint (But it better to leave the layers of color is as simple as possible). Yes, we get into detailed technical material on methods and opinions may Chemistry differences between the practical aspects of color, but the principle is that, yes, you can paint oil over acrylic and it works. I have the method, and paintings from 25 Years are in perfect condition. Nuff said?

Question: What color should I choose Oil Paint grade grade for student and artist?

The Oil Paints are planning for my painting class . Buy In a tough time between artist and student grade grade colors. I think it's a big difference in their intensity and when they are mixed. I need Help to choose what colors should I allocate for artists and students for grade class. I wish I could buy a lot of artist grade paints, but they are far too expensive for me. Also what size 37 or 200ml? Thanks * I prefer to buy Winsor and Newton Fire

Answer: Straight line Stick with the Winsor & Newton Winton and wait a while to move up to grade artist. You will only waste your money if it is not important. You want have much material to learn and explore, so you can get the most out of your projects. The color differences are not important for your needs at this time. You may require a student to paint grade. If it is in your budget go with 200ml tubes. Just think of dragging around this if you are prompted. If portability is Get the important 37ml tubes.
