Question: Opinions on acrylic colors ...?I would like some feedback on what artists will find most easy to use brands you have heard acrylics think of any brand. whats the best value? are the more expensive colors worth? Brands such as Liquitex, Basic, golden, van Gogh, victories, and Newton, and the Academy.
Answer: From my own experience I have never seen a brand of acrylic that works just as Liquitex, and has so many options for treatment and texture. The world is boundless and the free literature they need to support there product is amazing. o other brand so many vivid, pure color and continue to contribute as well. I it uses OUTDOORS paintings on canvas, glass, metal .... it uses are endless ... I have used it as a gouache and watercolor and oil look like a ..... ..... liqutex basic than for the Golden .. It paints are generally weak and need to get several layers of pure color. Van Gogh and I hate Windsor Newton is still the Cadillac of Watercolors but it lacks the gloss acrylic liqutex
