Question: Why gesso Add sparkling water if you use it?

I've been using Liquitex Basics Acrylic Gesso and if I add water-based paint to my canvas, the canvas blowing throws. Can I tell someone what I do wrong? I have other gessos used, but they have never bubbled, even if they get wet.

Answer: From a chemical point of gesso is just a mineral, calcium carbonate. Put that in water, that no CO2 dissolved in it and it is in response to a bicarbonate. Try to develop it not with distilled water.

Question: Liquitex paint is toxic to dogs?

I just go home and found my dog ate a tub of Liquitex acrylic .. It is toxic and should I take her to the vet now .. so last night I called the vet he and poisoning. They looked at the colors of the safety data sheet and said shes gonna be fine just give her water and in most it is passed. but she hasn't done that, shes just running around acting crazy as usuall. Thank God.
